FormA1 is an independent research index of Hong Kong IPO filings, built by a practitioner for people who draft and review them.

Coverage

  • Final prospectuses of Main Board and GEM IPOs published on HKEXnews from 2023, in English.
  • Application Proofs and Post Hearing Information Packs posted from 2026, in English.
  • Indexed chapters: Summary, Risk Factors, Business, Financial Information, and Future Plans and Use of Proceeds.
  • New filings are collected, parsed and indexed every morning (Hong Kong time).

How it works

Each filing is parsed into its headings, paragraphs and tables. Search runs over that text, and every result links to the original document on HKEXnews at the page it came from. A company's Application Proofs, PHIP and prospectus are linked through the HKEX application number and the issuer's name.

The one-line company descriptions and industry labels are written by a language model from each filing's Summary chapter. They are aids for browsing, not statements of fact; always rely on the filing itself.

Stages in the filings log

  • Application Proof — the first Application Proof of an application.
  • Re-filed AP — a fresh Application Proof from an issuer that filed before; Revised AP — an updated version of a live Application Proof.
  • PHIP — a Post Hearing Information Pack, posted after the Listing Committee hearing.
  • Prospectus — the offering has launched.
